 		 CLAIRE COOPER

Claire Cooper currently plays Jacqui McQueen in Hollyoaks.
She has also appeared in other TV shows, including Waking
the Dead in 2004 and Coronation Street & Waterloo Road in 2006.

In 2007, Cooper was nominated for the Best Actress award at
the Inside Soap Awards.

 

 		 JUNADE KHAN

Junade plays the role of Ash Roy and has previously appeared
in Coronation Street and Waking the Dead.
 

 		 GLEN WALLIS

 Glen who plays Malachy Fisher
has had various TV roles prior to his stint on Hollyoaks, including
BBC 1's Casualty and ITV's Wire in the Blood.

 		 STEVEN BEARD

Steven is the newest cast member
of Hollyoaks playing Archie Carpenter, having previously appeared
in MTV's docu-soap 'Living on the Edge'.
 

 		 EMMA RIGBY

 Emma plays Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks. She has been involved in
some of the shows major storylines which have gained her Best
Actress award this year!

Emma won BEST ACTRESS at the Soap Awards 2008!

 		 ASHLEY TAYLOR-DAWSON

 Ashley joined Hollyoaks in September 1999 to play character,
Darren Osborne. After leaving the programme in late 2000 Ashley
enjoyed a short-lived career in the music business as part of the
group All Stars. He returned to Hollyoaks in October 2003.

 		 NICO MIRALLEGRO

 Nico joined the Manchester School of Acting and studied there before
he won the role of 'Newt' -  His distinct character involves having
completely different hair and make-up!
 
 		 STEPHEN UPPAL

 Before landing his role as Ravi Roy Stephen worked extensively
in theatre.  Most recently he played Salim in My Beautiful Laundrette
at the Duchess Theatre.

 		 JENNIFER METCALFE

Jennifer Metcalfe is a model and joined the cast of Hollyoaks in
early 2006, playing feisty Mercedes Owen.

In 2007, she was nominated for 'Sexiest Female' at both the British
Soap Awards and the Inside Soap Awards.

 		 ANDREW MOSS

You might recognize his face from the BBC drama series Cutting It,
along with a couple of appearances in Coronation Street and Merseybeat.
He plays the popular character of Rhys Ashworth in Hollyoaks.

 		 GEMMA MERNA

 Gemma Merna  currently plays Carmel McQueen which is her
first major TV role.

She joined the cast in the Summer of 2006 and won Best Comedy
Performance for her role in the 2007 Soap Awards.

 		 NICK PICKARD

Nick is Hollyoaks longest serving actor, having appeared in
the very first episode. 

He plays the role of Tony Hutchinson and is the show's most
well known character. (His brother John plays the role of Dominic Reilly)

 		 KIERON RICHARDSON

Kieron Richards is best known for playing the role of bad boy
Ste Hay in Hollyoaks.  After appearing in the late night version
Hollyoaks: In the City, Kieron was offered the role of Ste in the
early evening Hollyoaks where he appeared for 19 episodes.

He exited the show after a stealing a car, which resulted in a
spectacular crash and his character getting sent to prison.
He returned to Hollyoaks in 2007.


 

 

KENT REILLY

Kent rejoined the cast having taken some time out to study at
the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. He plays the role of
Zak Ramsey.

 

 		 ANTHONY QUINLAN
 
Hailing from Salford, Anthony studied acting in Manchester and
previously worked in modelling. He plays the comical character
of Gilly Roach.


 

 

ROXANNE McKEE

 Roxanne McKee is currently plays Louise Summers in Hollyoaks.
She left studying for a degree in politics from Sussex University
to take up the role.

Sarah Jayne Dunn (born 1981) is a British actress best known
for playing Mandy Hutchinson (nee Richardson) in Hollyoaks
1996-2008.
